Carsten Pieper We all have favourite songs that the world didn't properly recognize, don't we? So The Laconic aka Marc Pelath is going to release his touchy-guitrar versions of such songs in the Derivatives series. The first combining mid-80s Genesis' The Brazilian with an instrumental number by the B-52s. Quite a choice ;-)

about

Derivatives is the name of a series of cover versions of instrumentals dear to the heart of The Laconic.

"The Brazilian" is from the album Invisible Touch (1986) by Genesis. "Follow Your Bliss" is from the album Cosmic Thing (1989) by The B-52s. Both are instrumentals, the last songs on their albums, and I always thought they deserved to be better known.
